Breaking away from traditional lamp designs was unnegotiable in order to capture the design movement, Memphis. An array of unusual colour choices of bright pink, pastel purple, bright yellow and pastel blue with scattered dots and lines ensures the design is outrageous as ever. I took inspiration from the creator of Memphis himself, Ettore Sottsass, designing a completely unique, very extravagant alternative design. The piece is full of geometry, mainly spheres where the lamp appears to be doing a balancing act. The statement light creates a sense of fun brining, bright colors, geometric shapes, strong patterns and abstract design, which can be used in any living/work space desired.
